The Florence Outdoor Collection's wall, ceiling and post light's shape is reminiscent of the magnificent Renaissance cathedrals of Italy with 3- or 6- sided domes, arched window panes and mini cupola detail. Each lantern is carefully handcrafted with attention to detail by our local artisans. An aged blackened finish on the copper produces a variegated patina that will change gradually over time. Handcrafted in Richmond, Virginia by our local artisans. Backplate measures: 11.5" H x 9.5" W. ** Made to order. WARNING: Please note that in coastal environments copper can be corroded by salt, so fixtures must be regularly rinsed to remove the naturally occurring salt accumulation in coastal areas. Fixtures that directly face ocean winds are particularly susceptible to corrosion and are not recommended in these instances.
